Ascensia™ Microlet® lancing devices are designed to reduce the pain of drawing blood samples. The Vaculance™ lancing device lets you obtain a small sample of blood from places other than your finger, such as the outer thigh, the edge of your palm, or the base of your thumb. After the lancing is completed, blood is gently drawn to the surface of the skin by a unique vacuum action. The Vaculance™ lancing device is perfect for use with diabetes testing systems that require very small blood samples (3uL), such as the Ascensia Elite® XL Diabetes Care System and Test Strips. The advanced technology in the Microlet® Automatic lancing device delivers precision guidance, and handling is made easier by its unique ergonomic shape.
